Interview with Rahul Varma, playwright, artistic director, Teesri Duniya Theatre

and Majdi Bou-Matar, artistic director, MT Space

Tiffany Lam of the CKUT news collective spoke recently with Rahul Varma and Majdi Bou-Matar on what playwrights, theatre companies, and artists of conscience can do to stand in solidarity with Palestine.  The two recently wrote a statement on Gaza, beginning:

“We, as artists committed to social justice, respect for human life and world-peace, and

in a resolute opposition to war, violence and destruction – oppose the war in Gaza and

invite dialogue for achieving a just peace for all.”
